After The Forum formally proclaimed the Hinterlands as a colony and joined the six city-states of Eorzea, a group of eager scholars decided to venture out of the settlement in search of new knowledge. Having landed upon the marine city-state of Limsa Lominsa, the scholars were in awe at the amount of people that congregated there--all from varying backgrounds with diverse professions.Thus, the Aethereum University was founded. The students of this fine establishment immerse themselves in all kinds of activities in pursuit of knowledge, including extracurricular activities!

In the recent semester, a group of handsome students, each of them being a representative of their course, decided to form a host club in the hopes of attracting more students to their classes! And of course, they are eager to share their affections to souls in need of friendship or companionship. Perhaps you would like to visit them and experience the host club for yourself?Though the club Presidents are diligent in their studies and duties, they can also be found in the university’s café to relax, discuss amongst fellow students, and are more than happy to accompany you whether for academic reasons or simply small talk! If you’re interested in capturing the memories with your seniors, we offer chekis, too!

We offer 2 sessions when the university opens. The time slots are 9PM to 1030PM, and 1045PM to 1215AM [GMT+8].Each booking is 250k Gil consisting of one host and one guest. There will be an additional charge of 150k Gil per extra guest (max of 3 guests) per booking.Hosting area can occur outside the venue and will no longer be limited to the club rooms or within university walls.

Attendance, Tardiness, & Cancellations
We highly recommend arriving on time (at the start of your chosen timeslot) to get the full experience that the club has to offer.Grace period for your slot will only be up to 15 minutes. It is up to the host if they will end the session late or on time regardless of your arrival. Should you be late past the grace period, we will automatically cancel your session.For early cancellations, please contact the staff member who handled your booking.Note that Refunds are only for those who contacted the staff who reached out to them upon booking before their scheduled session.Guests will not be refunded if they fail to show up for their session AND did not reach out to a staff member for cancellation.If your session has already begun and you need to end early, you will not be refunded but please let your host know that you need to go soon so they can relay to the one who was responsible for your booking confirmation.

He no longer feels he deserves to be close to anyone or have someone be in his life anymore.Background: Born of mercenary parentage of Duskwight folk and the lack of nobility, he was often pushed around, bullied and treated badly by other students and the teachers even. His only comfort was books and he'd read countless that he was able to during his tutelage in Ishgard. After all the Libraries were full of ideas – perhaps the most dangerous and powerful of all weapons. He’d continue on for years in Ishgard, from a nobody he worked his way up, having gained his value and holding knowledge in his palms he would eventually even be able to afford his own home. Eventually returning to Ul’dah to repay the old lalafell only to find out that he had succumbed to old age and passed on. With no one in his life anymore, he returned to his studies of Librarianship and Literary Works at the current Aethereum University. The lightest of conversations are the quickest way to veer him out of his academic immersions, while those who come to him with their woes and troubles, be it academically or romantically, quickly find themselves a recipient of his sage advice.Within the context of academia, almost anything that transpires within the University walls are a source of wonder and amazement to him, although in recent times he has devoted himself to a much deeper study of Aether and its correlations to one's spirit. Perhaps that in understanding how others think and act as they do, he would glean further insight into how each individual's Aether is shaped by their own experiences and journeys in life.Background: Orphaned by a great fire that struck the Rak'tika Greatwood, Aaron was found as a babe by the pixies of neighboring Il Mheg and thought he would make for a good pet, much like how one would keep a hamster or a kitten. His otherwise gruesome fate was saved by the intervention of they who would become his future mentor, Titania, King of the Pixies. Thus he lived an extraordinary Viera's life - perhaps one could say that he did not exactly live a normal Viera's life - surrounded by magic and wonder, and one that would eventually work both to his benefit and detriment, perpetually exposed to the Faerie Kingdom's enchantments. This would lead to him developing a physiology and traits that no Viera would ever have, such as the capability to sense others' Aether and bear pixie-like physical traits such as markings and their iconic wings, which he endeavors to conceal in the presence of others.Eventually he would leave Titania's tutelage and follow after a friend in the (very) distant shores of Eorzea. Personality: Shy, gentle and polite to a fault, Cocoa is easily flustered and highly emotive, often lending him to very cute behaviour; his ears are especially expressive. He is helpful and generous by nature, often bringing what he’s made in his cooking classes to others as his way of thanking them for small kindnesses. He has severe anxiety and is very self-conscious, quick to apologize if he feels he’s made a mistake, even if nobody actually noticed or is bothered and he is easily intimidated; if he gets too upset, his selective mutism kicks in and will progress from stuttering to a loss of his voice, but he’s learned to cope fairly well and tends not to get to that point so easily. Once he has gotten attached to someone, he actually has quite the ‘mothering’ streak to his personality, fussing over their well-being and gently chiding them for not taking proper care of themselves. He strikes as the sort that has seen much trauma but held tightly to his soft heart despite it all...Background: After he first left Skatay, Cocoa made his way to Kugane where he had to learn enough Hingan to get by, though he actually wound up relatively fluent by the time he made enough gil to cross the sea to Eorzea. He knew very little Eorzean Common at the time and after some initial difficulties trying to find work and somewhere to stay, he was helped by a [student/teacher?] from Aethereum who was multilingual, from whom he learned enough Common to manage on his own. Personality: Mafuyu is actually pretty dense. Due to this, he doesn’t realize that students are flirting with him and replies in a really logical manner, much to the frustration of others. One of his weaknesses is actually desserts, especially the rolanberry pie from one of the bakeries near the academy. If you need a favor from him, all you need is to do is get that pie for him, and he will help you with everything.He can’t deal with numbers, so he tends to escape from math lessons and lay down in the field, looking at the sky or hide in the library to read up on astrology and the history and lore of the Twelve.Background: Mafuyu was born in Limsa Lominsa, to a fisherman family. Mafuyu developed a keen intellect from an early age. His insatiable curiosity and natural aptitude for magicks has led his parents to send him to Ul’dah to learn the arts of thaumaturgy instead of having him inherit his father’s business, heading down the path of a fisherman. During this time, he honed his skills under Master Cocobuki, applying logical frameworks to complex problems.Driven by a desire to learn beyond the arts of black magicks, Master Cocobuki recommended him to apply for Aethereum University back in his hometown, Limsa Lominsa. Though he ends up focusing more on people's emotions and desires; Which he uses to his advantage by showering them with love and affection, and also giving them surprises!Background: An Elezen that isn't what he seems to be, Shure was brought up by his mentor, who then disappeared one day after teaching him the bare minimum to survive. Setting out to learn more about the world, he went through many series of events and met many friends; All which deepens his interest and curiosity in those around him. Shure picked up the Koto and Eastern Dance while working during his long stay in Kugane. He also learned the Piano and Harp in his little ventures in Ul'dah after he came back to Eorzea.

She is as curious as one can be and likes to take on new adventures when opportunity arises. While she may be a shy individual, she tries to be as affable as she can be with others, even more so when meeting new people.Background: Though abandoned in the mountains of Coerthas as an infant, she was fortunately adopted into Ishgard’s House Haillenarte, becoming the present head of the family’s niece. Her adoptive father, aware of the struggles she might face within Ishgard— at a time before its reformation, set out to raise her outside the city-state, carrying the surname Valfiel, in hopes of a more carefree life for her. However, her father passes on due to illness a decade later and leaves a young Ascella in distress. After two years of wallowing in despair and isolation, she decides to venture out of their home in Gridania to leave her sorrows behind and start anew.Apart from her studies at Sharlayan, she also enrolls at Aethereum University to broaden her horizons and learn whatever else she can outside of her curriculum at the Studium. Not only that, it helps her meet new people and somehow lessen her social anxiety bit by bit.
